The institution was established in May 1997 as a Nursery and Infant School for the children of age 2 ½ to 7 years with 7 students on its role having 3 staff members. There was hardly any nursery school in the city at that time and parents were not even much familiar with the Montessori System. The institution took it as a challenge and set new trends and standards receiving appraisal and good response from the parents.
By the Grace of Allah, the institution was gradually upgraded, and got registered in steps to Middle in 2001, High in 2005 and recently as a College in 2008. The registration for O’ Level and IGCSE classes with British Council is in process and the O’ Level classes have also been started from this academic year. TGH in its influence and presence stretches far further than just an educational institution and its about 1100 students and over 90 staff members are its most persuasive ambassadors.
Today, more than 75 academic staff, many with a reputation in their own subject, continue to provide the highest standards of teaching in almost every academic area, and more than 1050 students continue to benefit from it.
TGH is big enough to accommodate a strength of above 1100 students yet compact enough to give all the students individual attention.
